Motorcycle / Powersports Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • PDI – Motorcycles, ATV’s and Snowmobiles
  • Scheduled maintenance services
  • Diagnostic and repair of mechanical and electrical issues
  • Reading and understanding service data and wiring diagrams
  • Maintaining manufacturer training certificates
  • Completing repair order documentation in the dealer management system detailing repair estimates, parts requests and work completed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid GM Driver’s License
  • 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certificate
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Ability to maintain a fast but accurate pace and manage timelines

Apex Cycle Sports is a growing powersports dealership working out of a state-of-the-art facility just off Holiday Inn Drive in the Hespeler area of Cambridge, and a big part of that growth includes our all-new subsidiary, Apex Harley-Davidson! Join us as we ensure that our customers have a fun and easy shopping experience with our exciting selection of products and experience some of that fun for yourself while we provide it. Our other brands include Honda, Yamaha, Indian Motorcycles, KTM, Ducati, GASGAS, Polaris, and MV Agusta, as well as aftermarket brands too numerous to list.

We have had a position come available in our Parts & Accessories Sales Team and, if you are an enthusiastic, experienced rider who wants to share your experiences with our huge customer base and have a good time while doing it, it could be you!

Responsibilities and Duties

· Interact and engage with customers, encouraging the best product purchase for their needs, whether communicating over the counter, on the phone, via email, or through the Shopify portal for our online store

· Locating proper parts on parts diagrams and ensuring accuracy and availability before ordering / selling

· Design and help build product lifestyle displays

· Maintain organization of Apparel & Accessory department

· Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

· Occasionally receiving product deliveries

· Preparing products for shipment to customers

Qualifications and Skills

· High school diploma

· GM license preferred

· Professional, friendly demeanor

· Above-average knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, and / or snowmobiles

· Previous Parts experience is a must

· Comfortable standing for long periods of time

· Courteous and friendly demeanor with customers

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to multi-task.

Pay Structure

Salary rate listed is based on an hourly rate plus commission.

Part-Time Apparel & Accessory Salesperson
 

Job Summary

At Apex Cycle , as well as our all-new subsidiary, Apex Harley-Davidson, we like to help our customers find the fun in traveling and make sure they look good doing it. Our Part-Time Apparel and Accessory Salesperson plays a big part in that, working 15 - 30 hours per week (including Saturdays) selling popular brands of premium gear and clothing to go with the customer’s motorcycle, ATV, or snowmobile. If you have an impressive knowledge of current fashion trends and can ensure successful purchases that our customers will be eager to wear, then you could be part of our fun-loving team.

Receptionist/Administrator (Part-time)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, reliable, and personable individual to join our Reception team in a full-time capacity.

As reception is the central focal point and the customer’s first impression of the dealership, customer service and professionalism are our number one priority.

Working in partnership with the other receptionists on staff, duties include:

  • Directing incoming phone inquiries
  • Assisting customers in person
  • Supporting all departments with various administrative tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized with an attention to detail
  • Ability to handle a high volume of traffic
  • Previous customer service and basic computer knowledge are preferred
  • G license.

Hours:

Partial shifts between 9 am and 6 pm Thursdays & Fridays
9 am – 4 pm Saturdays
Additional hours available if desired.
